SMALL HAND
The small hand of a clock points to the hours. That means that if it is 1:20, the small hand is showing that it is 1:00 and would be pointing to the 1.
LARGE HAND
The large hand points to the minutes. That means that if it is 1:20, the large hand is showing that it is 20 minutes after 1:00 and would be pointing to the 4.
What is an analog clock?
An analog clock is a common wall clock that has a minutes hand and hours hand to tell you what time it is. It is important to learn to tell time on an analog clock because they are very common.
What is the clock that is easy to read called?
The easiest type of clock to read is a digital clock. it has the numbers clearly written for you to read. These clocks are nice to use but if the power goes out, they do too.
